NEWQUAY CAMPING & LEISURE HAD A NEW WEBSITE DESIGN IN 2009 FOR THEIR ONLINE SHOP, WE WERE THEN ASKED TO DESIGN ELEMENTS FOR THE NEW WEBSITE AND ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS, FLYERS AND POSTERS. IN 2010, WE TOOK OVER THE ONLINE SHOP AND MARKETING, DESIGNING PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL AND E-NEWSLETTERS FOR THE COMPANY ON A REGULAR BASIS.

CLIENT

Newquay Camping and Leisure is a well-established family business based in Newquay,
Cornwall. The company was started in 1973 by Freddie Rowe, who still finds himself
working in the shop today. His son Damian has been learning the trade from his father and
is now looking forward to moving the business on for the next 30 years.

The Newquay Camping and Leisure store consists of two shops, one of which is
specialises in camping equipment, tents, caravanning and all camping accessories, the other
is outdoor clothing. In store you can find all the great brands from, Vango, Outwell,
Sprayway, Royal, Regatta, Gelert, Aztec, Avtex TVs, Thetford plus many more.

OBJECTIVE

Although it was hugely successful at the stores, Newquay Camping & Leisure were
yet to establish themselves online. With a recent re-brand and launch of their website it was
time to promote the new look and online presence.

SOLUTION

Oracle started off by designing parts of the website, we created product banners, the
home page imagery and main product links.

We then designed new adverts for magazines to promote the new site, there were two
different versions for this. We also designed double sided flyers, which advertised the site
and also promoted special offers on products. POS (Point of Sale) was then produced for
some products, including large A1 posters for the exterior of the shop.

We also designed e-newsletters for the online shop on a monthly basis and had some great
results from these campaigns . We also began marketing and online marketing for the
online shop.
