WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE WE ARE NOW WORKING WITH NEWQUAY BID (BUSINESS IMPROVMENT DISTRICT) TO DESIGN A 6 MONTH ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN IN THE NEWQUAY VOICE NEWSPAPER. THE ADVERTS WILL HIGHLIGHT THE OPTIONS TO CUSTOMERS IN NEWQUAY AND THE PRODUCTS THAT ARE AVAILABLE LOCALLY AND SUPPORT LOCAL RETAILERS IN THE AREA.

CLIENT

Newquay BID is a private sector funded, not-for-profit limited company led by people who
are passionate about Newquay and equally passionate about its future. The aim of
Newquay BID is to create a well promoted, vibrant, attractive and well managed town for
customers, employees, businesses and investors.

The business plan consists of three key project areas spanning 5 years, central to which
are active Marketing, Public relations and Image, Events and Street Environment.

OBJECTIVE

Design a new advertising campaign for the Newquay BID called 'NQY High Street'. There are
6 separate adverts, 5 of which are half page and 1 which is a full page advert, all to be
featured in the Newquay Voice newspaper. They are designed for each calender month,
beginning with December 2011 and ending with the May advert in 2012.

As well as designing the adverts, there are 6 products per half page and 10 products for the
Christmas advert that will be photographed at different retail shops in Newquay, edited,
enhanced and cut out to go into the adverts.

SOLUTION

So far we have designed the December 2011 and January 2012 adverts. We are currently
working on the new February 2012 advert.

Newquay BID (Business Improvement District)

Newquay has a Business Improvement District Scheme (BID) generating a six figure sum annually to be spent on things that matter to local businesses.
