WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH ST AUSTELL PRINTING CO. WE WERE GIVEN THE TASK TO DESIGN A NEW CHRISTMAS CARD FOR THE AWARD WINNING HOTEL AND A NEW 'CORNISH ESCAPES' 16-PAGE BROCHURE DESIGN FOR 2012.

CLIENT

Nestled in 65 acres of organically managed sub-tropical gardens and parkland on the banks
of the tranquil Helford River enjoy a holiday in Cornwall at this privately owned, family run,
luxury four star hotel.

Outstanding leisure facilities include a spectacular indoor swimming pool with log fire, sauna,
outdoor hot tub, natural health spa, 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, private foreshore and
an award winning restaurant with Cornish seafood specialities.

In addition to our hotel they have four luxury self-catering cottages.

OBJECTIVE

Update and design the new 'Cornish Escapes' brochure for 2012 for the Budock Vean hotel
near Falmouth, in Cornwall. The brochure is 16-pages and would be printed by St. Austell
Printing Company.

Also design a new Christmas card for the hotel to send out to valued customers.

SOLUTION

Well, we have now finished and received the December 2011 Christmas card for the hotel and
it looks great, we kept the design simple and it featured local artwork on the front and personal
signatures from all the team at the Budock Vean hotel. The paper is thick and textured and gives
it a great weight and feel.

The brochure for 2012 is back from the printers and looks great. The new 16-page guide gives
a great insight into the offers and holidays the Budock Vean has to offer and was a pleasure
to work on in collaboration with St Austell Printing Co.
