THIS WAS A GREAT PROJECT TO WORK ON AT CORNWALL COLLEGE AS OUR DIRECTOR THOROUGHLY ENJOYS TEACHING AND ENCOURAGING CREATIVITY IN YOUNG PEOPLE.
CLIENT
Cornwall College Newquay is a young and vibrant campus site specialising in animal based
courses. Ideally located next to Newquay Zoo students benefit from Cornwall College's
excellent links with the industry, gain work experience out in the field and take part
in research.
OBJECTIVE
To lecture at Cornwall College Newquay, a 3-hour workshop which will teach the
higher education students 'The principles of design' and then to speacialise on
teaching the students 'Poster design', showing examples and helping each student
realise their potential for Graphic Design.
SOLUTION
Our Director of Oracle Design, Andrew Stone, lectured at Cornwall College Newquay
in 2009. After teaching the students basic design principles and poster design, he
helped each student to progress with their own poster design for their coursework
as part of their degree.
