Our Director, Andrew Stone was up for 'Best Business Start Up' at the 'Hub Awards' 2009, last night and what a great night it was. Oracle Design had a table for 10 at the award ceremony which included interior and retail designer legend, Mark Whitrow-Coates, from Whitrow Design, marketing guru for Chew TV Max Hepworth-Povey and Massage Cornwall's Stella Clark. Thanks to everyone who supported us on the night and congratulations to the winners.
Despite not winning the award, to be shortlisted in the last 3 of Best Business Start Up's in Cornwall for 2009 is amazing and being the top graphic design agency voted is great for our first year in business. It was a good night and great to meet everyone on the night. See you all at the next 'Hub' event in 2010.
Oracle Design has been nominated for a 'Hub Award' 2009. We have been shortlisted to the last 3 for the 'Best Business Start Up' in Cornwall 2009.
Cornwall boasts some of the most dynamic and successful industries in the South West and beyond. Even in the current recession, the forward thinking attitude of Hub members is worth recognising and rewarding.
The last 12-months have arguably been one of the most difficult times to start a business in recent years. The award Best New Business Start Up rewards a business and the people behind it which has been set up in Cornwall within the last year which has quickly made its mark. The judges will be looking for evidence of business acumen, worthy products/services, entrepreneurialism and commitment to the Cornish business community.
Our Director Andrew Stone is up for the award and results are announced on 26th November at the Atlantic Hotel in Newquay.

We are a case study for the 'Web Design & Print' area for the upcoming ’Does your business need a performance boost?’ on Wednesday 28th October, 2.00pm – 4.30pm at Cornwall College Business Suite, Penhaligon building Camborne.

Oracle Design have signed up to do all of Chew TV's design work for the forthcoming year. I am now 'Head of Design' for the company and work for them on a retainer basis, which is great and we can continue to bring in more clients for Oracle Design.

We have just finished working with 'Real Ideas Organisation' in Hayle Community School to design a new logo and branding for their new integrated health centre called 'Crayon'. We taught and worked with 450 children in 3 days to get their ideas for the logo design, which will be finalised over the coming weeks. See the project here: Hayle Community School - Crayon Project
