Happy New Year everyone and we hope you all had a good Christmas. It's been a while since we last updated you on what we are up to, so here it is. We have some great new clients, including a 6 month contract with 'Newquay BID (Business Improvement District) to photograph and design adverts for products on the Newquay highstreet. These adverts are in the 'Newquay Voice' newspaper monthly.
Another great addition to the list is the 'Budock Vean Hotel' in St Mawes, near Falmouth. The luxury 4-star hotel is one of the finest country hotel's in Cornwalll. We have designed the new 16 page brochure for 2012, 'Cornish Escapes' and also designed the recent Christmas card.
We continue to work with ongoing clients and recent work includes a great new Email Newsletter for the 'Atlantic Hotel' which we design monthly, new design projects with 'Oltco LTD', 'Trevose Golf & Country Club' and the 'Carnmarth Hotel'.

It has been all systems go for numerous clients and last minute projects before Christmas. Recently we have designed Christmas newsletters, Christmas cards and festive adverts, it's definitely getting us in the Christmas mood and looking forward to a break, so we hope you all have a good time, eat lots and be merry.

We are sorry for the lack of updates, but we have been too busy working on client projects, but new work and clients will be up soon. We have been working on a great project for the whisky company The Old Pulteney/Row To The Pole (London) expedition to row to the North Pole led by Jock Wishart, Phumula Massage (London), the Carnmarth Hotel (Newquay), i-Tech Solutions (Camborne), Astor Leander (Downderry) and more work for regular clients Trevose Golf & Country Club and the Atlantic Hotel.

Just a quick update to say we are pretty busy with various new projects. We have been working on various apparel designs for Retallack Resort & Spa, as well as website assets, e-newsletters and some presentation material.
Various designing projects continue with Atlantic Hotel in Newquay. Including the new 2011 Tariff and a Conference brochure design to come. We have recently received the new 16 page Wedding brochure and it looks great, this will be uploaded soon when we have the chance.
We have finished the press pack, business card and aerial map for Trevose Golf & Country club, again this is coming soon.
Finally, we have finished a new clients website design for 'Celine Gehret', professional surfer, model and surf instructor. She is also 4 times Swiss National Surfing Champion. We have worked on this one for a while and the new web design can be seen here: http://www.celinegehret.com/

Oracle Design are proud to announce that we have sponsored Newquay Tretherras School for their upcoming trip to New York. Students from the School will be embarking on an amazing tour of New York and experiencing music, media, drama, dance and art in the city. The trip is planned for 20th-26th July.
We have sponsored the trip and designed the logo, t-shirt and hoodie. Rumbles 2 have also sponsored the trip and will be printing the garments. There is a big charity fundraiser at the Carnmarth Hotel towards the end of February also. We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year break. After a very successful year in 2010, things have got off to a great start in 2011, working on newsletter designs for Retallack Resort & Spa, a website design for Cornwall Catering Equipment and various other graphic design projects for Celtic Tuning, Atlantic Hotel and Trevose Golf & Country Club. Oracle Design have signed a 6-month contract for all graphic design at Retallack Resort & Spa, near Pastow, Cornwall. The highly rated 5-star resort has some big plans for the future and we are proud to be part of the team. Keep an eye out for a big update to our website over Christmas that will show some of the new work, including various adverts, logo and branding and promotional material.

We are really sorry with the lack of updates to the website recently, as we have been so busy looking after our clients and projects for them, our own site has been extremely neglected. However, Christmas is coming and this usually means party time and a rest for clients work and huge updates to our site, it will happen so please be patient. Some of the work to come includes:

Two seperate Retallack Resort & Spa adverts designed for the Cornish Guardian paper, one promoting the new 'Loop' restaurant at the resort and the other which will be updated on a monthly basis, for the new 'Taste' series. We designed branding for the 'Taste' series and this months offer is 'Taste of Thailand'.

Oracle Design had a great day out today at St Austell Printing Co, to see our recently designed 20-page Atlantic Hotel brochure go to print, also a 10-page Tariff and 6-page Christmas & New Year Guide. These are looking great and really pleased with the design we have completed and quality of print. Includes foil blocking on the cover and the cover itself folds out on the back and front to show some great imagery of the hotel, some of which we took ourselves. This will be hitting our website very soon (when we finally get a break from every one else's work, ha)

Summer is well and truly here and we are loving this great weather. Had a very busy time in the office though with some great work for some new clients. Also almost finished the Atlantic Hotel brochure design, tariff and Christmas guide, which are all looking great.

Oracle Design is featured in the new Cornwall College Prospectus for 2010/2011. Ther have been 10,000 copies of the prospectus made, showing all the courses and training available. We are the only business shown in the directory on page 32.

Well, it's been pretty hectic the last couple of months working on numerous clients work. We are beginning to update the site as I write this with all the great work we have been doing.
Over the next few days we should have everything on here for you to gaze at. This includes our new logo, branding, corporate stationery, promo material and full website design for The Cornish Ice Cream Company. Also a huge portfolio will be uploaded for the Atlantic Hotel, brochure designs, tariff, Christmas guide and adverts for the Hotel and Silks restaurant for many magazines and newspapers. Another project to be updated is Trevose Golf & Country Club, signage and poster designs.
Also keep your eyes peeled for a brand new client, Cornwall Catering Equipment, who we are designing a new logo and branding for.

We have been so busy recently, we just havn't the time to update the website with all our great new work and clients. Poster designs for Trevose Golf & Country Club in Padstow have been completed, a 20-page brochure for the Atlantic Hotel in Newquay is done and going to print soon, new adverts for the Atlantic Hotel have been designed for the Newquay Voice & Guardian newspapers, even a completely new brand/logo design, business cards, flyers and website design has been done for The Cornish Ice Cream Company in Penzance. We have designed 3 new e-newsletters, web design and advertising for Newquay Camping & Leisure, new adverts for Newquay Property Centre and a new performance template for Celtic Tuning......
.....but we just don't have the time to update the website with all our fab new work.
It will be done soon however so keep your eyes peeled, for now it's back to designing everyone else's work :)

Oracle Design has been extremely busy in the first 2 months of 2010. It looks like companies are beginning to pick things up again after the recession. We have signed up 4 new clients in Cornwall so far this year. These include the 'Atlantic Hotel' in Newquay, 'Newquay Property Centre' estate agency in Newquay, 'Helianthus Holistic Therapies' in Perranporth and 'Emma Scholfield' who is based in Penzance and running 2 seperate companies, which we will be designing 2 new websites for and will appear on here very soon.
